The Amicale
Over time, the Veterans have left us, and the enthusiasts of fortification have taken over.
Even today, the Domaine remains the property of the Defense, but its management and maintenance are entirely taken care of by the Amicale volunteers.
However, the Domain is regularly occupied by the Defence for different exercises, which always makes it a Military Area prohibited to the public without authorization.
The Forteresse
Work began in May 1935 on the schist spur of TANCREMONT at an altitude of 302 m. The Fort of PEPINSTER began to take shape. It was inaugurated on 8 August 1937. Code of Forteress : HSW

The museum
On 28 May 2018, the fort museum was inaugurated in the presence of the Mayor of PEPINSTER, the owner of the ENSIVAL museum and the President of the Amicale.
